Can you know the truth if your mind has been wiped?
Kyla's memory has been erased, her personality wiped blank, her memories lost forever.
She's been Slated.
The government claims she was a terrorist, and that they are giving her a second chance - as long as she plays by their rules. But echoes of the past whisper in Kyla's mind. Someone is lying to her, and nothing is as it seems. Who can she trust in her search for the truth?

Today marks the first blog post on Demention - a group blog with myself, Julie Bertagna and Julienne Durber. The first post introducing the blog went up this morning, and to celebrate it's launch, there is a giveaway!
Visit the blog, leave a comment and join the site: you could win one of five books. Two - Exodus and Slated - signed copies of our books; the other three - Unwind, Noughts and Crosses, and Gulliver's Travels - each nominated as a favourite of one of us.

Goodreads rocks!
When I put up a proof of Slated on a Goodreads giveaway on March 19, I had no idea what response it would get. I was absolutely thrilled that so many people entered to win it!
Thanks so much to everyone for their interest, and to the many who also added Slated to their TBR.
There were 2339 entries when it closed on 5 April, and congratulations to the winner. A signed proof will be on the way to them early next week.
Slated launches on 3rd of May: I think there may be another giveaway coming up then...
Thanks again, everyone!

Bookmark winners are....
Thanks so much to those who left comments to have a chance to win a Slated bookmark! I used a random number generator, at Math Goodies, here, to pick two winners.
And the winners are.... comments no. 3 and no. 9!!
3 is Bekki Hill, and 9 is Leanne@DistrictYA!
I'll be in touch to see about posting them along.
Cheers!

Slated Bookmarks!
To celebrate these seriously cool Slated bookmarks from Orchard Books, I'm going to give a few away!
Two chosen at random from those who comment on this blog post, telling what you think of the bookmarks - I'll do that next Weds afternoon at 3 pm UK time, so that gives a week.
And also two chosen at random from all those who like my facebook page TeriTerryAuthor, here. That one I'll do when I reach 200 likes - not many to go. Both open internationally.
Thanks, and I hope you like them as much as I do!

Win a proof of Slated!
Getting Slated covered has been blogged on Notes from the Slushpile, here, if you want to learn more about how the cover came about, and its earlier incarnations.
To celebrate the official release - and my first blog on the Slated website - I'm giving away a signed proof of Slated!
To enter, this is what you need to do: leave a comment on this blog post, follow @TeriTerryWrites on Twitter, like my Facebook page, TeriTerryAuthor, or tweet about this competition in these words: "Win a proof copy of Slated by @TeriTerryWrites at http://slated.jimdo.com/"
AND don't forget to tell the rafflecoptor about it, by clicking on it below.
Please note: you need to click on 'comment' under this blog to leave a comment, as usual (the Rafflecopter takes your word for it when you hit the comment button!). And if you tweet on subsequent days, be sure to come back here and tell Rafflecopter about it. Of course when a winner is Rafflecoptered - is that a word? - I'll check they have commented or tweeted as the case may be.
For each of these things you do, you get one entry, and tweeting can be done daily for additional entries. This is all run by Rafflecopter, and is open internationally. It is open now, and closes, on Feb 16 at 12:01 EST (5:01 am UK time).
Thanks, and good luck!
p.s. and no, Banrock you are not eligible!
